MAKING OF: CHIXNGRAVY SHOOTING

Last week it was time to shoot the new (summer) collection of the Austrian fashion label CHIXNGRAVY (www.chixngravy.com). Due to the weather conditions in Austria (snow...), it was absolutely unpossible to shoot a summer lookbook anywhere near here. So we decided to make a little trip to Italy to shoot it there. I was super excited and so looking forward to warm sunny days, that my suitcase just contained spring clothes... Whatever, in Italy there were also 10° and rain! Jackpot! ;-)
Nontheless, we had to do our shooting and in the end the pictures got really cool and really summer-like. You can see them soon on the website of the label and in the catalogues.

Sequin Love | Shooting Inspiration

Heute hat mir die Post ein kleines Paket gebracht. Drin zu finden war ein großer Beutel voller silberschimmerndem Konfetti. Das ganze im Ausmaß von 2kg. Ganze 2kg voller Glitzer, Schimmer und Mädchenhaftigkeit.

Das Ganze ist für mein nächstes Studio Mode Projekte unter dem Motto "All That Glitters". Wie der Name schon sagt, soll es sehr feminin werden und natürlich glitzern. Viel Glamour. Dazu Pastellfarben in den Kleidern.

Ich freu mich schon. Ihr müsst euch allerdings noch 2-3 Wochen gedulden, bis das Ganze von Statten geht und die Serie fertig ist.

English: I found a little package in the mail today. In it were my order for my next fashion shooting, called "all that glitters". I ordered 2kg of metallic silver confetti to get all that glittery and shimmery feeling next week. I'm really excited. It's going to be really girly!

Shooting: Marcel Hirscher

Vergangene Woche hatte ich das große Glück den österreichischen Skistar Marcel Hirscher zu fotografieren. Das Ganze war relativ spontan. Ich wurde knapp einen Tag vorher angerufen ob ich Zeit hätte. Meine Antwort war eigentlich Nein, da ich bereits ein Shooting in Salzburg geplant hatte und ich es auch nicht verschieben wollte. Nun ja, wenn ich keine Zeit habe, gibt's auch kein Shooting, denn Marcel hat einen dichten Terminkalender und NUR, aber auch nur, an diesem Mittwoch Nachmittag Zeit. Na gut, dann muss ich wohl Zeit haben. Also hab ich es auf mich genommen, nach dem Mode Shooting nach so schnell es geht nach Abtenau zu kommen und dort in einem Fitnessstudio mein ganzes Studio aufzubauen.
Auf jeden Fall war dieses Shooting eine tolle Erfahrung und tolle Gelegenheit für mich.

Die Bilder des Shootings werden für Werbeanzeigen und Printmedien für die benutzten Fitnessgeräte verwendet, die demnächst zu sehen werden sein. Ich werde die Tearsheet natürlich dann online stellen. Die Fotos vom Shooting darf ich leider vorerst noch nirgends veröffentlichen.

Gestern hatte ich wie angekündigt ein Fashionshooting mit zwei tollen Models, Leonie und Nicole.

Die beiden haben sich tapfer geschlagen, trotz der Kälte und dem Schnee.

Shooting Days with Legs Of Steel

The last few days I had been at the Kaunertal with the boys of Legs Of Steel (www.legsofsteel.eu) to join them at their last shooting for their upcoming movie, releasing in autumn this year. Additional me and Christoph Schöch were joined by the BR television team, who were filming for a documentation of our shooting days for a tv show, which will show me, as the winner of the on3 photo challenge, joining Christoph at his everyday work.
Due to bad weather all we did the first few days, was just waiting and wishing for better weather. On Wednesday it finally got better and the boys could start shooting. I arrived again on Friday, a bit late, but once arrived, we immediately started to film the last scenes for the upcoming docu.

Late in the afternoon the planned heli session started. Just one word: OVERWHELMING!! The session went down perfectly and the boys were killing it!! ..So be prepared for suuuuuperamazing scenes in the new movie in autumn!! I'm still stoked!
